October
2004 Brings A New Harmonic Opportunity
Bonnie Orgren
On
November 8-9, 2003, as reported by astrologer, Johnny Mirehiel, six
planetary bodies created a grand sextile in the heavens at a time of a
total lunar eclipse. The
sextile is an astrological aspect of opportunity.
This aspect formed a Star of David or star tetrahedron.
In wisdom teachings, this six-pointed star represents the
sacred union of opposing energies, male and female, spirit and matter,
soul and personality. He
called this very rare event the Harmonic Concordance.
The planetary bodies were the Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter,
Saturn and the asteroid, Chiron, who represents the Wounded Healer.
All geometric forms represent a process, not a static structure.
The Harmonic Concordance indicated a global shift in human
consciousness, signaling a giant step for humanity.
This shift, created by us, gave the opportunity to heal old
wounds and come into alignment with ourselves.
Johnny
Mirehiel has now noted the study by astrologer, Jill Whitman, who discovered
that on October 1, 2004, that five planets
in a quintile aspect create a five pointed star in the
heavens. In wisdom
teachings, this star form represents humanity.
It has five points. We
have five senses, five fingers on each limb.
In numerology the number five is associated with the planet Mars. It is the energy of the desire to assert ourselves, to
create and to bring about harmony from apparent conflict.
This star form is called a pentagram and also represents
protection and the five elements, water, earth, air, fire and spirit.
It symbolizes an active expression of oneself.
The mathematical relationship of the planets that forms a
quintile [72 degrees of separation=9, the # of completion] signifies an
ability to lift to a higher level of awareness or a talent.
Mirehiel quotes astrological elders, Robert Hand and Bill Tierney, on
the significance of the quintile process.
Hand says that the quintile expresses a process of change that
gives the "ability to turn creative inspiration into concrete end
products". Tierney
says that this aspect shows an ability to reach a high potential after
an effort to become self-realized.
Quintiles show a determination to create.
Mirehiel has listed the many spiritual drives that the
energies of these quintile series represent in his delineation of the
October charts. It
would be beneficial to copy them and use them as a basis for
meditation and intention.
On October 28,
2004, another quintile is formed in the heavens. The planet Jupiter [expansion, Higher Mind] replaces
the Sun [essence, Will] in this star.
Again, read Mirehiel's planetary interpretation at his site.
This date is the occasion of a total lunar eclipse in
Taurus/Scorpio. The
Harmonic Concordance of November 8-9, 2003 was a total lunar eclipse
in Taurus/Scorpio. It
is a rare occurrence to have a six pointed star in the heavens and rare
to have a five pointed star.
It is very, very rare to have a total lunar eclipse on the
days of these configurations.
Jill Whitman's research shows that this has not occurred in the
2500 years covered by her research!
In May 2004, I wrote
that a lunar eclipse tests our personal integration and asks us to
create new methods to deal with our life circumstances.
It is an auspicious time because the positive and negative or
masculine and feminine energies are in alignment.
Taurus is an energy that is being emphasized.
The Full Moon of May 4, 2004, was in Scorpio, with the Sun in
Taurus. This was a
lunar eclipse ON the degree or site of the Harmonic Concordance lunar
eclipse of Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Taurus.
The polarity of Taurus/Scorpio has been called the Axis of True
Being. Where it is
placed in a chart, is where we are asked to go into ourselves [this
is the feminine energy expressed by both signs] with deliberation and
persistence [this is the fixed mode of operation] as deeply as we can go
and to meet all aspects of ourselves completely and compassionately.
The water energies of
Scorpio activate the earth energies of Taurus.
In might be worth noting that Buddha was a Taurus and taught
the philosophy of using the mental plane to free ourselves from
emotional attachment and suffering. Scorpio is the energy to passionately investigate, to
go deeply into matter and all that matters.
It is a sign of a disciple.
The transiting North Node, a point of focus and evolution for all
of us went into the sign of Taurus in April of 2003 and will leave this
sign in December 2004.
We are completing a major lesson in this energy.
Taurus asks us to be present, to be in the now moment, to savor
inner peace, to enjoy and care for the physical world, to be self
sufficient, to focus on values and self-esteem and to meet the Self.
But Taurus needs the waters of Scorpio to be fruitful. The October 28, 2004, total lunar eclipse with the
quintile pentagram in the heavens features the Sun [will, creativity] in
Scorpio and the Moon [feminine nurturance, the past] in Taurus,
just like the Harmonic Concordance in 2003.
Scorpio wants to eliminate what no longer serves its highest good
and to transform its desires.
Taurus wants to develop its resources and feel secure in the
world. The Scorpio
energy asks that we penetrate the depths of ourselves, be
discriminate in the use of our all our energies, see beauty in all
things and balance opposing tendencies and ideas.
It leads us into the life of the soul, helping to reorient us
from a personality focus to a soul centered focus, from a self-centered
worldview to an inclusive worldview.
The Venus eclipse of
the Sun on June 8, 2004, was a rare event as well.
In humans Venus focuses through the Third Eye where Higher Will
resides. Venus brings
in the energy of synthesis and helps to resolve duality.
She fosters harmony and what esoterists call Right Human
Relationships. We are in
right relationship when we do not judge ourselves and when we identify
what we need to address in order to be more open and loving.
Right Human Relationships require the use of higher,
soul centered love and a sacrifice.
This sacrifice is of the astral desire nature.
One is asked to be more mentally focused, more objective and
detached. The sacrifice is not really a loss; it is a movement into
maturity. Let us pray
that this will continue to be our focus.
Venus rules the skill of diplomacy that is so desperately needed
in our world.
Venus is the alter ego of the Earth and her eclipse of the Sun in May
should be helping us to grow into a more heart centered awareness of
ourselves and the world. The feminine energies are strong in the October charts.
May we embrace all of ourselves with compassion, releasing
judgment of self and others [Scorpio].
May we build and create beauty and harmony in ourselves,
among ourselves and on the earth, using all of our creative talents
[Taurus].
After reading Johnny
Mirehiel's article, I thought of the work of the astrologer, Charles
Harvey who wrote an article on the cycles of the Sun and Neptune.
He states that they represent the individual [Sun] and the
collective consciousness [Neptune] and their relationship to each other.
His interpretation is based on the work of the great astrologer,
Dane Rudhyar who was "the master of the relationship between the
individual and the collective".
I have found in my work that Harvey's archetypal interpretations
of these cyclic aspects reveals individual and galactic tasks.
In its highest functions, Neptune dissolves our sense of
separation and opens us to mystical union.
It its illusory capacity, Neptune can bring confusion, chaos, or
break down. It can
create the fear of being separate or alone and seduce us into addictions
to ease the pain and bring the illusion of unity.
In the idealist, strong Sun/Neptune aspects indicate inspiration
and the ability to sacrifice. Experienced
in a lower vibration, this aspect can be felt as disconnection and
delusion.
The cyclic process of
these two planets reveals our process of creating more consciousness.
At the Harmonic Concordance last November, Neptune was in an
outgoing square with Sun. This
point in the synodic cycle is a major challenge to reevaluate.
Based on Harvey's analysis, this aspect demands that we do
battle with the collective consciousness.
It is challenging but fruitful.
The ego [Sun] is asked to differentiate and, at the same time, to
carry forward what is of value to the collective vision.
This would represent a Taurus energy.
At the Scorpio lunar eclipse of May 4, 2004, Neptune was in an
applying aspect with the Sun.
At this synodic point there is a reorientation that calls for
action. We must return our
individual gifts that we have gathered to the collective.
Harvey says the Sun/Neptune relationship can function at six
levels of Being. Each
cycle builds on the success of the preceding cycle.
Last November it would seem that our minds were being asked
to utilize our intuition and see the wholeness in the dark and light.
At the level of will, it asked that we focus our will and bring
forth our gifts to serve the good of the collective.
At the spiritual level, we were asked to see that we are
lenses for the manifestation of Spirit.
On October 1, 2004,
the Sun/ Neptune relationship is an applying trine.
This represents "fruiting".
The trine is a blessing.
It seems to say we are coming into our intuition, power, will and
potential and will express it.
On October 28, 2004, Sun/Neptune are in a separating square
aspect, just as at Harmonic Concordance last November.
The square is a challenge that can bring great growth and
manifestation. It
seems that we are asking ourselves to use the blessing of the trine to
create an individual expression.
The "Hero Soul" must again create from intuitive
reality an archetype for itself and a vehicle of service.
We have created a mandate to harmonize many elements of ourselves
and bring this harmony to the Earth.

like no other being ever created since the beginning of time, you are
incomparable.” Brenda
